Answer 2 simple questions and you will be well on your way to making a great plaque selection that is both appropriate and meaningful.
1) Who is the plaque for? Is the plaque for your husband/wife, The Chief, a sponsor or business, a group, a volunteer, an affiliated organization, a newcomer, a retiree?
2) What is the plaque for? Is the plaque a gift or momento, a gesture of recognition or appreciation, a memorial, a dedication, a single feat or deed, many years of service and achievements, a Thank You?
While just about all of our Fire Service Plaques can be universally engraved with your personal message to suit the occasion, there is no doubt that some achievements rank higher on the scale than others, and therefore warrant a little something extra. An example would be a Ceremonial Fire Axe Mounted on a plaque for the retiring chief versus something more subdued for an outgoing line officer.
